Habitat NT

History

Habitat was created in 2008 after an agreement between George and Paul to form a joint construction venture which provides clients with honest appraisals and a personal touch. Habitat’s goals are to improve the quality of construction within the NT and assist other smaller builders and sub-contractors to further develop their business. This sometimes requires guidance and advice from George or Paul of practices and different procedures to make the most out of time and materials. The directors of Habitat have a vision to be the leading residential and commercial developers within the Darwin area.

Members include builders, trade contractors, design professionals, kitchen and bathroom specialists, manufacturers and suppliers. Contractor Accreditation Limited

Contractor Accreditation Ltd (CAL) is a non-profit company established by the NT Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Territory Construction Association and the NT Small Business Association to manage a scheme of self regulation for the building and construction industry. CAL also proudly supports Territory business through its close links with the NT Industry Capability Network (NTICN). CAL provides a process of certification for contractors looking to become CAL accredited, and a register of existing accredited businesses.
